  reset each month. The rate per credit is the same inside and past the
  included volume.

Every purchase is delivered as one zip containing GeoParquet, GeoPackage, Shapefile, GeoJSON, CSV,
all in EPSG:4326. The download link does not expire.

## API limits

- APN and point requests cost 1 credit. Radius and polygon requests cost 3
  credits. The cost is per request, however many parcels come back.
- Up to 1,000 parcels per request, or 100 for APN lookups. Page with
  `offset`; each page is a new request and is charged again.
- Radius: up to 5,000 metres. Polygon: bounding box up to 25 km².
- Lookups in counties we do not cover use no credits. Failed requests cost no
  credit.
- Free API key: 100 credits, no card, one per email address. Enter an email at
  https://getparceldata.com/api/free-key and open the link we send.

APN lookup returns a GeoJSON FeatureCollection with boundaries, centroid and interior-point
coordinates. Its status is matched, ambiguous or no_match across all pages.
It searches primary and alternate identifiers, preserves leading zeros and suffixes,
and removes punctuation and letter case in normalized mode. Exact mode requires the
original identifier. Every API plan includes it. Each completed request costs one
credit, including no_match and ambiguous results. Failed requests cost no credit.

Buying is the one step that ends with a human: POST
/v1/extracts/checkout returns a Stripe `checkout_url` to hand to the person you
are acting for. Do not attempt to complete payment yourself.

## Fields

parcel_id, parcel_id_alt1-3, property address (line1, line2, city, state, zip),
owner_name and owner address, derived_owner_type (LLC / LP / CORP / TRUST /
REIT / GOVERNMENT / RELIGIOUS / LIKELY_INDIVIDUAL), assessed_value, land_value,
improvement_value, assessment_year, acreage, year_built, year_effective,
square_footage, land_use plus unified_land_use_category, zoning plus
unified_zoning_category, latitude/longitude, parcel geometry, and derived
geometry (parcel_area_sqft, parcel_perimeter_ft, parcel_shape_compactness) and
building statistics (building_count, building_footprint_total_sqft,
building_height_avg_ft, building_coverage_pct).

Field availability varies by county because it varies by assessor. Every county
page publishes its own fill rates rather than averaging them away.

## State and county pages

Every state has a page listing its counties, e.g.
https://getparceldata.com/tennessee. Every county has its own page, e.g.
https://getparceldata.com/tennessee/williamson-county. A county in the current
release shows its parcel count, per-field fill rates, source date and a $199
buy button. A county not yet in the release says so and has no buy button. The slug is the full county
name: `-county`, `-parish` in Louisiana, `-borough` or `-census-area` in
Alaska, `-municipio` in Puerto Rico, `-city` for Virginia's independent
cities. 2,621 counties can be bought today.
